DO I GET CHARGED EXTRA FOR THE RECYCLING CART?
No, you actually save a little on your monthly bill; Customers who recycle get a small discount. In addition to saving on your garbage bill, the biggest incentive is that you'll have more space in your regular garbage toter. Many customers find they don't need to have as large of garbage toter--which can save you even more. With the extra capacity of the recycling cart, you may be able to recycle more of what you are currently disposing, and reduce the number or size of garbage toters you need--an extra savings on your bi-monthly bill.

HOW TO ORDER/REPLACE A CART & SIZES AVAILABLE
If you are a current or new customer who wants to begin using the recycling cart, please contact our office at (253) 564-3212. We'll set you up for recycling service, and drop off one of our carts at your residence to begin service. We also provide recycling for busineses and apartments--contact the office for more details. Also contact us for the following:

  • Your cart is broken or missing and you need a replacement.
  • You are not currently signed up and you want to begin recycling service.

WHAT ARE RECYCLING CART SIZES?
There are two cart sizes available, 65-gallon and 96-gallon.

Newspaper, magazines, junk mail, cardboard, cereal boxes, phone books, office paper, paper milk-style cartons, non-metallic gift wrap, plastic bottles with a neck narrower than the body, tin and aluminum cans can all be included.

DO NOT place the following in your recycling toter:  Pizza boxes, paper plates, paper towels, tissue, plastic lids or tubs, styrofoam, or glass

How much room do we need to pick up your cart?  Please allow 3 feet of clearance on all sides of each toter, at least 5 feet from cars and 18 feet of overhead clearance.
